What Prompted You To Become An Interior Designer?
As a child, my instinctive response to naturally
found materials were to build fairy houses for the little folk in
the woods. I often invented new designs suitable for their enchanted
lives; all my houses were much loved by their occupants. I was delighted
and joyful to have provided for them, and my career choice was a
matter of holding on to this happiness.
What Do You Consider Your Greatest Professional Achievement?
As an adult I continue to create nurturing and functional
places for people’s use. My instinctive drive has not faded:
I still derive much satisfaction from designing truly client-oriented
environments.
What Changes Have You Seen in the Industry, and How Have You Contributed
to these Changes?
The new millennium explosion of technology has provided
designers with the capability of designing state-of-the-art offices,
as well as with the resources and materials to implement these designs.
I have responded by listening intensely to understand what each
client desires and will use current technology to create that environment
for each client.
